Studies of CLA (conjugated linoleic acid) in the human diet demonstrates that it tends to reduce body fat (particularly abdominal fat), improve serum lipid profiles, and have favorable effects on muscle mass. Likewise, Omega 3 fatty acids have been shown to increase insulin sensitivity in conjunction with reduced fat mass.
Because of these facts, researchers suspected that a combination of CLA and Omega 3 fatty acids would provide a synergistic effect on body composition when combined. They administered 3 g of CLA and 3 g of Omega 3 fatty acids to sedentary adults for 12 weeks versus a control group. Both groups reported everyday to the research center where meals were carefully weighed so both groups ate the same calories. At the end of 12 weeks, even though both groups ate the same calories; the group consuming the CLA and Omega 3 fatty acids prevented abdominal fat deposition and caused a small increase in lean muscle mass. In summation, the combination of CLA and Omega 3 fatty acids prevented bodyfat and caused a small increase in bodymass without diet or exercise. Imagine what OMEGALYZE will do for you while dieting hard and training with high intensity!
