However, just 10 days after the greatest victory of Dennis' career, he was diagnosed with a life-threatening form of leukemia. Dennis fought the cancer like he approached bodybuilding; with no possibility of failure. Two years later, Dennis defeated his leukemia but lost his greatest passion in life-- a professional bodybuilding career.
